The Project

King William House – Hull

Client: Yorkshire Ventures
Contract Value: £6,000,000

Work has started on this £6m redevelopment of a 1970s office building in the centre of Hull to create new apartments and an arcade of retail units. As part of the redevelopment King William House will be re-clad, including areas of glass designed to generate reflections of the grade I-listed Hull Minster, which dates back to the 1300s and sits directly opposite. The work, which is due to complete in summer 2019, will include the transformation of the first, second and third floors of the building into 30, one- and two-bedroom apartments. In addition, an arcade of nine retails units will be created on the ground floor that fronts onto Market Place
